Yep, I’ve got to replace the timing belt on the wife’s front wheel drive Hyundai. Was supposed to be changed at 50K miles, has now done 95. Bought everything to do it, just don’t want to….
hey Terry ive done ours 4 or 5 times plus other little front drive cars, remove driver side under splash guard, remove drivers front wheel, jack under engine and remove upper engine mount, youll see how the rest goes easy, ive left water pumps in place for two belt swaps, why throw a good known pump its not that hard to do just the pump, but do check your balancer hasnt slipped on its ring the marks wont line up correctly,i used the same idler for say 3 belt changes, only because its our car.
