I seem to end up with some crazy fast crotch rockets...back in the eighties I had a GPZ 750 turbo very rare bike and I wish I had it now.I loved the fact that the bike was easy to ride but what I loved most was it's abillity to break traction around corners in a predictable way.
I loved my Z1 what a brute and it never once failed in anyway.
I had a 97 Honda Blackbird. The bike was super fast,I went 180 on the bike alone and 165 with my wife on the back. The bike had more to give with my wife on the back at 165 but I had to slow down because her face shield on her helmet flipped open, the wind resistance from that made her feel like her head was going to be ripped off.
I want a Vincent Black Shadow now.

Oddly enough, I'd search the world for one of these in this sort of condition.  ;)

Last year I joined a support group for procrastinators.
We haven't met yet.

My very first street bike - the 400f.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

A Britten, NR750 Honda and a RC30 Honda....

NR, hands down.   I was looking at how much parts were just yesterday.  I think a new generator was over $4000!  New bodywork?  Both sides combined were over $16000.  I'd still like to ride up to a local bike night on one just to see the jaws drop :)

First, a V-max.  Greatest bike to ride around ever.  A CBX-but it would have to have a 6 into 6 exhaust.  A Vincent Black lighting,

 A Norton Manx, a MV Agusta F4CC, a NR750, a Rune,a Moto Guzzi V8, a  Suzuki RG500 Gamma, and a BMW R90

Z1 for me. Just beautiful.

I've owned some "collectable" bikes, but many of them have been disappointing in one aspect or another. If I had a lot of money I think I'd just travel to the US and buy a Harley, and ride from coast to coast, and enjoy the culture until the weather warms up here in Oz again. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

That's exactly the same as the first one I ever saw (apart from the non-standard pipe). I fell in love.

My first bike again... the 1983 Yamaha Virago 500

Yeah, it's a beginner bike, but the thrill of first learning to ride and then riding this bike EVERYWHERE I went make this one special to me.  I sold it about 7 years ago to fund another bike project, and of course, I regret it.  Someday I'll buy it back.

When I was young, a long time ago, I always liked the Ariel Square Four.  It had a cool look it for its time.
