Beautiful! Is that  GPS? I've got one out in the garage, I might have to install it on my R100RS. Cheers, Terry. ;D

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

yes terry its a garmin zumo 660 , pretty good but for some reason they cost 4 times as much as a car unit [ ok i know they are waterproof but 4 times ]  you should get away with a car gps if you mount it in the fairing .
ive been looking for another r100rs but im not sure if my gammy arm will bend enough . id forgotten how nice that smoked grey looks though , still looks pure class .

Thanks mate, I bought a "motorcycle specific" GPS from my local "Aldi" store back in 2009, but I've never taken it out of the box. I must get off my arse and install it before I get too old to read it, ha ha!

Yep, this is my second R100RS and in the 8 years since I sold my other one I'd forgotten that it is a bit of a stretch to the bars and they are quite narrow too, so I'll either swap the fairing for an R90S handlebar fairing and install some "Euro" bars, or sell it and buy an older unfaired model with the "Toaster" tank. Cheers, Terry. ;D

Does this count as a motorcycle?

If not, a Moto Guzzi V7 Sport. One of the early red frame models preferably.

Where you come from is gone.
Where you thought you were going to, weren't never there.
And where you are ain't no good, unless you can get away from it.

WWII vintage BMW.  The MG42 machine gun is a nice accessory and keeps the cage drivers at a respectable distance. :D

A 500 4cyl MV Agusta failing that a 3cyl MV like Ago used to drive failing that anything that weighed about 290 lbs handled decently stopped well and had roughly 50-60 hp at the rear wheel.

If you are picking a 101 SCOUT, the 1931 last year one is far better than the early ones....best handling bike they made..

That's a nice bike, but when it's foibles will keep it MIA, I'd pass.  If you don't know they come with plastic tanks that don't like today's fuels very much and tend to split at the seams.   In reaction, Ducati has done basically nothing.

I know but I figured if money was no object I'd just pay somebody to deal with it while I ride my CB1100 that Honda doesn't want to sell me ;)
