Would a 550F kicker work?

I have read the posts about heating and bending the kicker on a CB750 to clear rear sets and brake pedal. I was looking on Ebay and came across a factory bent 550F kicker and was wondering if it would work instead?

I have a 76 and 77 550K and I tried to put the kicker on my 750. Would not fit. I think it was a different spline, but I don't remember exactly.
