First fire-up
« on: July 29, 2012, 01:49:02 AM »
Hi Folks,
I've been fettling and wrenching this baby for most of the past 6 years, but she-who-must-be-obeyed said it was time to finish the project and move on to something else.
Anyway to cut a long story, I finally finally managed to fire her up for the first time about 2 weeks ago, and like a proud Daddy I took a video of the moment.
Here it is:

Congratulations pop. :)
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

Hi Mick, long time no hear. Unfortunately I don't see a road ride on her anytime soon.
I've been fighting a lot of mechanical/electrical snags since then.
I've posted my problems on the 750 thread on this forum if you wouldn't mind taking a look and seeing if you had any suggestions I would appreciate it.
