Weltzing, you may not like the answer, but you have the wrong carbs. Just look at the pic I posted, it clearly shows the difference between the CV and PD carbs, which is much the same as the difference from your carbs and head. The spiggots on the head are the same size so the boots will fit. It doesn't surprise me that someone would fit a different motor and keep the origional carbs. A lot of people don't know there is a difference in the heads when they changed carbs.
