Porting a 750 cylinder head
« on: August 03, 2012, 06:43:47 AM »
I am doing a frame-up restoration and upgrade of a 1970 Honda 750-K0.
Looking for someone to do a nice porting job on the cylinder head--for street use.
ie: more mid-range power, not top end. Hard to find someone who has the knowledge and skills to do a mild porting job, and is reliable and trustworthy.

Thanks

APE (Forum Sponsor) or MRieck (Forum member). They are used to doing high performance, so you'll have to emphasize dialing it back a bit.

Thanks for your reply, MCRider:
Yea, I got a quote from APE. I'm sure they would do a nice job, but was quoted 8 weeks turn around time.
The summers are short here in Michigan, and I want plenty of time to properly break-in engine before the
start of cold weather. MRieck?--sure, I'd love to get in touch with him, but the forum will not allow me to send
an email to him. Why is this? I'm a new member to this forum. Some help in contacting him would be
appreciated.

Thanks, once again

Search member name MRieck. Then click his name and the profile will come up. Then click "send PM (private message)". He'll get it but may take a few days for response. he's busy too.

If you're blocked out of PMs, that's because you are new and its to keep the spammers at bay. Bear with it. Post a few more posts and the ban will be lifted.

MCRider:
You're right--I'm still blocked out of sending messages.
Maybe this will help for those reading this link. I have a few, select K0 parts that I would be willing to sell
to someone on this forum. I'll list those in the appropriate column shortly. I will not be listing these on the
ebay/scam website--or do i repeat myself? I have a full life here, just like everyone else--just don't need the hassle.
