6 die including the gunman at a Sikh Temple. I've never heard of this religion but it's origin is from India.

Still just another senseless tragedy and loss of human life.

In Canada there was a lot of religious strife with the Sikh community they could have been responsible for the Air India bombing over Lockerbie Scotland and a lot of infighting between various factions, having said that all the Sikhs I've met have always treated me decently. So it might be someone who doesn't like like Sikhs or settling of scores.

I think you guys are confusing your religions, the Sikh faith is the fifth largest in the world and does not have ties to the Muslim faith.
It originated from the Punjab Providence in India.

My condolences and prayers go out to the affected people in this senseless bloodshed.

Used to work for a manager at Lucent Technologies who was Sikh. Historically they were known as fierce fighters and the wavy blade design knife is associated with the Sikhs. Many are very peaceful...but there have always been attacks between various religious groups somewhere in the world. Some today use politics and other means than violence.
It is a tragedy to have happened.
