Hello from Northport, Alabama
« on: August 05, 2012, 01:57:03 PM »
    Hi Everyone,

Mike here from Northport, Alabama.  A few months ago I added a new member to my ever expanding garage...a 1975 CB750K. To say she was in pretty rough shape would be the understatement of the year. (for example, a PO had added a household light switch with the optional speaker wire to their harness)   :o
Finally getting her sorted out and road worthy. I try to make/modify as many parts as possible to keep from having so much money tied up. (now labor hours, that's another story, I can't even begin to estimate how many hours I spend tinkering on my bikes...I call it "my therapy")
This forum has helped me out of a few technical jams and the group seems just as insane as me so I decided to join on up!

   -cheers,  mo

Howdy! Wow, you are indeed kind to rescue that mess! :)
What kind of air filter was that on there?

Looks like a n old K and N filter to me. This is the closest thing I could find to it on the web.  The two center pods look closer to traditional filters. I kind of liked the chrome covers so I polished 'em up and re-used 'em.
