I know there are a ton of threads on this topic but I've been searching and reading for a couple of days and want to get some input/advice on my situation specifically.
I basically just want a better brake set up on my CB750 K4 project. I understand that rebuilding my master cylinder and caliper, and getting steel braided brake lines will help a lot, but dual discs is what I really want.
I really would love to have a modern front end. I especially like the idea of modern 4-6 pot calipers, sweet looking discs, etc but I'm pretty scared to dive into that. I have only basic tools and very little experience doing mechanical work period, let alone enough knowledge to ask a shop to machine special spacers, sleeves, etc in order to get a modern front end to fit on my frame. If there's a super secret way of doing this easily, I'm all ears.

I've looked over Industrial Cafe's GSXR front end swap thread multiple times and he does a great job of breaking it down but I still don't know if I could do it.
So that leads me to just swapping in a front end of a 75-77 GL1000 in order to get dual discs. I've heard it's pretty much a bolt-on swap and very easily done if you have the correct parts.
So here's my potential shopping list for a 75-77 Goldwing front end swap:
*75-77 GL1000 Front forks
*75-77 GL1000 Top and bottom triple tree
*75-77 GL1000 Calipers (both)
*75-77 GL1000 Discs (both)
*75-77 GL1000 Rim (Replace my 750 rim with lighter Goldwing aluminum rim?)
*75-77 GL1000 Master Cylinder? (or can I use an aftermarket MC? Suggestions?)
*New SS braided brake lines
*I would love to have an aftermarket top triple tree instead of the goldwing one that has the handlebar brackets (I plan on using clip ons) Anybody have a lead on where I could find one?
*75-77 GL1000 Speedometer drive?
*New tapered bearings? Will any that are made for a 750 K4 work?
Am I missing anything? Should I just go for the modern front end? I know there are a lot of questions in there but any guidance, advice, or input about any part is appreciated.
