Having a hard time reading those verification letters.
Just bought a 1978 black Honda don't know what size it is yet. I paid $100.00 for it no side covers but looks like every thing else is there. I found this site through my cousin. It has been in a barn for about 6 or 7 years The man just wanted scrap metal price for it I'm glad it is not made out of copper. Maybe after I wash it I can tell more about it. He will have the title Monday it should say what it is.

welcome aboard.... start a thread in the project shop... your gonna def need new tires and a battery.. theres member named frankenbike... or some thing close to that.. he sells side covers... i would get a battery first or jump it and see if it fires on starting fluid... check the gas tank for rust (hook your finger in and feel the inside of the top)and drain out whatever is in there.... if its decently clean put some gas in there and see if she runs... but you most likley are gonna need a  carb rebuild also

technological J Yes the tires have cracks on the side walls I have the battery out of the mower until I get the correct one. I pushed the kicker by hand it does turn over. I put oil in the spark plug holes first. My cousin told me to do that. He knows a lot more than I do. So I hope he did not mess me up. He talk me into this said it was a good deal. I don't know. I washed it and it did clean up pretty good. I guess if I don't spent to much until I see if it runs I can take it to the scrap yard and at lease get my money back or most of it. I could not get a picture to download on this site don't know what I'm doing wrong will try again later. All the lights come on with the mower battery have not tried the electric start get. Cousin Bill said wait until Monday. Until then kick it over a little at a time. Does this sound right to you? Got to find some other way to get gas to it. The tank has a lot of dried up yellow stuff in it. Cousin Bill said he will show me what to do. I am sure I will have a lot of questions for you guys if you don't mind. There is a Honda shop here but I don't know if they will have any parts for a bike this old. That is all for now got to go do a lot more cleaning.

the honda shop is a good place for part numbers sometimes you can find ok deals thu them... they can order any part you need.. i dont think youll hurt anything seeing if it starts on either dont run it see hust see if she fires.. lots of polishing to do bill sounds like he s got you covered let us know about any more questions
