I'm kind of hoping for early/mid Sept start, wrapping up early/mid Oct. I think we still need to pick up WV so maybe a sequence like:

NY, NJ, DE, MD, PA, WV, VA, NC, SC, GA, FL. I'm hoping to ride up and cover part of this region via Deals Gap AND Six Gaps. Schedule permitting, maybe another swing through AL to see the sights at Barber's? Just have to see how things play out down the home stretch!

Didn't realize Ohio got missed too,

so the progression from Team Mid Atlantic to Team Southeast Coastal might include part of Team Central to pick up OH:

NY, NJ, DE, MD, PA, OH, WV, VA, NC, SC, GA, FL

which is quite an ambitious list, 12 states in four to five weeks? Or, we just tear down the coast from NY and don't stop till we get to Key West and pitchers of margaritas!

any update for when/where the GZ will cross through NC? The original map looked like it was crossing through the Raleigh/Durham area.

Raleigh is very possible, I've got family in Raleigh and may be imposing on them so I can reach out for the final leg. GZ 2.0 is meandering through New England, just a little behind schedule. Haven't seen much planning by Team Mid-Atlantic, may need to wake them up!

My schedule is tight with 2 young men and a full time job. Im free on wednesdays (give or take a day) and always on sunday! I may be free on a thursday or no promises a sat/sun combo. I can do a pick up in SC and deliver to Brunswick GA! My boss knows whats up but Im a Chef and if someone needs an event 2 days notice or less can ruin (usually) my plans! I will stay off the interstate so please look at that as you travel south!
Cant wait to see GZ lefty and the others that are traveling!
I have a nice back yard for camping any night of the week! My zip is 29910 about 10 miles from exit 8 off I-95! Pm me for my # If you need it!
That camping is available to all sohc travelers any time!

I may be able to scoot over from ATL and ride south with you depending on the date, so let me know when you think you'll be close to Columbia, Sc, 3 hours from me or I can find some point to meet up with you. I cant make it up that far. Depending on when it is fairly close to this proximity will dictate where I can go. I have off every other Friday, therefore a 3-day weekend, that will cycle again on the 5th of Oct. So, I will have a 3-day the 5th-7th,19-21 and the 2-4 of Nov. I can still ride on the other weeks but will only be able to participate on the actual weekend or late on fridays. I don't know how people would like this ride to go but I know a pretty decent route to Fayetteville following a back road thats about 50 miles and we could pass it through the line down that way. Or we could just take it down the highway.

And South? I would say to the border of North Carolina.

I can bring it farther south than Allentown (I live outside of Philadelphia) so that should help. If you're willing to wait until the following weekend after this, I can probably bring GZ some ways south to help get it to you. I might also be able to get a friend of mine (and fellow SOHC CB750 owner) to ride down south with me.

York/Lancaster is good, but Sunday doesn't work well for me... and it looks like that's going to be a miserable day. If the following weekend doesn't work for you, maybe I could take a day off next week.
