side of road help please updated to in garage

Bike ran great yesterday. Almost a hundred miles. Today its popping lean and struggling to accelerate.....I changed the oil........not sure what its deal is....no socket for the plugs on hand....60 miles to the garage. Gas out the petcock(both)gas out the carb drains

Timing? Done static.....cam chain maybe? The end of the screw is a bit nubby

Could it be possible you have a air leak in your intake had this happen to me the other day left me at a rest are until a nice fellow had a few tools in his trunk

sorry, double pic, left to right...does one bad plug cap affect coil output? 4 didnt seem to change even with a good cap...

Did you test that number 4 is actually producing a spark?  Maybe the plug wire has an issue.

Tank vent clog, petcock clog, rubber manifold air leak. 

You will have to pull the petcock to look at it.  Tank vent should be straight forward if it is clogged.

Get a can of WD40 and spray it at the manifolds while idling.  If they RPM changes you have an air leak.

#4 looks lean, but 2&3 look to be close to carbon fouled?

#1 and #4  and #3 had about 30 minutes of 12k ohm cap. 3 was last. I swapped w some other coils w new caps. Test tomorrow

So. New/different coils. New plug caps. Gas in all bowls. Rubber booties good. Tappets reset. Timing is an issue. I can't get the light to go out either way I turn the plate. 1st mark on 1.4 side lined up to timing mark. Visible tiny gap between points leg and cam.

#4 won't fire steady. Colder pipe. The rest are the same temp

Timing is an issue. I can't get the light to go out either way I turn the plate. 1st mark on 1.4 side lined up to timing mark. Visible tiny gap between points leg and cam.
Set the gap first, with the point "leg" on the highest point on the cam, then rotate the motor to the timing position to set the timing.
