'74 CB550f parts <---> '83 CB1000 parts fitment???

First time poster here been lurking for a little while.  And I must say there is a library of information here on the SOHCs - I love it, however, I cannot find an answer to my question...

So a couple months ago I bought a '74 cb550f in blue color.  I have always wanted to take a part a bike and try to rebuild it especially an old Honda like this.  It came with a lot of parts but not everything and not a title.  I got it for 350$ so Im pretty happy.    Anyway I finally have some time to get to the bike and I found a post on craigslist of a guy selling a bunch of parts that I need, however, the bike is a cb1000 from 1983... Will any parts fit directly onto my CB550?  In my eye the chassis look very similar and so do many of the parts that I can tell from the pics.

I was looking at things like exhaust and headers (4-1), complete factory front end minus brake lines, wiring harness( concerned my wiring is shot as the seller of 550 said the bike was sitting for quite a while under a tarp), spark plug coils and wiring, locking gas cap, fork seals and more...

Pretty much any information you all could give me would help a lot as I am completely lost on how any of this would convert from the 1000 to the 550.   :D

Cheers

Joe

I'm almost certain nothing is interchangeable without serious modification.
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.
