dyna 2000 question
« on: August 14, 2012, 08:23:26 AM »
Does anyone think there will be issues with mounting a dyna 2000 unit where the starter motor once sat? Will there be too much heat in this location?

Thanks.

Mine is on the front of the battery box (75 750F). Been there for years no problems.

The starter well is best used for warming food while on the road, IMHO. Convenience store frozen burritos should be removed from the plastic package, and re-wrapped in heavy aluminum foil. Cooking time varies with time, road speed, and ambient temperature. Canned goods, such as Dennison's chili and spagettios can also be warmed, but care must be taken to vent the can. A protective layer of foil is still recommended, for easier clean-up. ;D
