Topic: need insight 1995 Honda VT1100 trade for a Honda 2003 4 wheeler

My dad is getting the itch to ride again. He has a chance to trade his 4 wheeler for a 1995 Honda Shadow VTX1100.....

Any insight of the pros and cons

 I think they start to make VTX in 2002,so if it's a 1995 its a VT1100.

my dad has a 2003 Honda 350 4x4 ES with a wench, wind shield, well kept only 2500 miles. The guy has a 1995 Honda Shadow 1100, 32k on it. I am thinking its the VT1100 model.... Not sure. I know my dad's atv is in great shape... He no longer uses this one as he has a side by side and 2 other atvs

If he doesn't use it... then go for it! 
I've ridden a lot of those mid-late 90s Shadows and they are a lot like our old machines... classic styling and enjoyable to ride.  Smooth motor, easy torque curve for someone getting back into riding, but plenty of power, nonetheless.

My dad had a mid 90s Shadow 1100 "American Classic Edition."
In fact, he was riding it when he passed. I've been looking for another since then.
They're solid bikes. Big v-twin, low to the ground, common tire sizes, Honda reliability, shaft driven.
Been seeing them for 2-3k for 15-25k miles around here. Not the right color for me, though.
