Hey Folks,

I wanted to let y'all know that I turned in my resignation as the BOTM/Y sub-forum Moderator to Glenn earlier today.  I spend much of my day and evening on this site.  I have a page up all day at work (very noticed), I will have this page up on two different computers at home and then I hit this site using Tapatalk often.  I also found myself being unprofessional on a thread in another part of this forum.

Mostly, I need a break.  I want to be able to come and go just like the rest of you.  By resigning my position here, that will allow me to do that.  I won't spend near as much time on here as I do.  I may poke my head in from time to time.  I can't cut loose of all the knowledge on this site, there is just so much.  I have joined in may conversations here, helped a few people out (I hope) and have met some great people personally.  I will miss that.

I told Glenn that I will do my duty for the rest of this months BOTM and I will honor that unless my title is stripped before then.

Time to go!

You've done a great job Rick. Really!

I remember in April at the Rally you mentioned you were getting burnt out, so this is not a total surprise. I just hope that idiot is not the reason, you're far above that.

Stay in touch and hope to see you in Oct.  If not, I know where you live!

really?

sorry... couldn't resist. as i've said before your work here has really been appreciated and i think you've done  a remarkably good job.  your diligence, desire to have things run fairly and smoothly, and with a sense of humor, has made botm a highlight of the forum.

but... your concerns are valid and we all need a break once in a while. you however have earned it.

Thanks for the replies folks!  I really appreciate it!

As I said before, it was y'all's BOTM, I just helped to present it.  I even let y'all poll on rules.  By the sounds of it, I did ok.  Thanks for letting me know!

Rigged! Ha ha, just kidding, well done Greggo. I'd volunteer to take over the BOTM moderator job, but I'm way too corrupt, and I'd make sure that only the bikes that I voted for won............. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"
