« on: August 16, 2012, 06:12:17 PM »
Was reading the ad's in a 1981 July issue of Cycle World.

I enjoy ads that are against the modern agenda.
I enjoy adds that respect the good of the people.

I don't own a BMW, but I've always liked this ad:

Where you come from is gone.
Where you thought you were going to, weren't never there.
And where you are ain't no good, unless you can get away from it.

Never enough room when you want to go for a ride? Always looking for storage solutions?

The "other half" a little short on top?

How can you beat this for the money and free shipping too! I better order two (2) and wear one opposite of the other. Plenty of room now!  ;)

Section of a old road test on the CB750 out of Cycle Magazine :)
I remember this, I think I had this magazine in the 70's. I had collected stacks and stacks of motorcycle mags, but when I got married in 1980 I trashed all of them :( :( Wish I had held on to them, it would of been some good reading 32 years later.
How do you like the striped pants the guys wearing in the bottom left photo 8)
