You know I am down.  Not sure what bike I will be on, but I will find something to ride.

Ride the Beamer.

My KLR should be ready by then.  maybe even the CB.

Just bring more.  Keep adding as you go.

Got the KLR running this past weekend.  She's not as classic as I would like (1990), but she's old enough to get antique plates.
I need to work out a few things and fab up some saddlebag stays to keep them off of the exhaust, but should be ready for the trip.

"2016 Schedule is still in development, but take a look at last years schedule for a general idea"

Uh huh... better hurry up there, less than month to go!

Ftr, I will not be there this year. Gotta go to Tacoma and visit Mom.
So, have fun for me. :)

Good to hear Joe.  That will be fun watching you climbing boulders and stumps trying to keep up with the trials guys on the KLR!

That sounds tempting, Bud.  How far is that from Luckenbach?

Not sure if it would work, I may not get to Luckenbach till Noon or so...

We're talking about leaving Houston on Thursday afternoon, probably spending the night in Dripping Springs and heading to Kerrville, riding through Johnson City and Fredericksburg on Friday morning.  If we can we'll try to check into a hotel about noonish in Kerrville, grab some lunch and hit the sisters...or something along those lines.  It's about an hour and a half from Lukenbach to Leakey, where we'll get on the sisters.  There's a bunch of good riding just getting to Leakey.

KLR is now registered and ready to go.  I rode it into work this morning and I will be doing so most days until we get ready to leave.  Don't want any surprise issues that would have come up by just putting some miles on it.
I have soft bags that I can mount up, and I will figure out a top box.

Hey Joe...when do you plan on coming down?  Riding with Shawn again??

You guys are welcome to use the Lago campground again if that works into your schedule...

My buddy and I went riding around Lake Livingston on Sunday.  My V-twin's clutch started slipping like crazy at higher rpm's.  Took it apart last night.  It's a dry clutch.  The steels looked highly polished and felt pretty slick, but not too out of the ordinary.  Fibers looked fine.  I went ahead and ordered new fibers and steels as well as some new springs.  They might be loosing their strength.  Hope to have it back together by the weekend so I can do plenty of test riding before the rally.

Yeah, I'd like to, Bud.   Maybe a ride up to "The Rock" and/or a lunch stop at Pecan Grove Store, a restored 1950's era gas station.  I went to a car/bike show there a couple months ago, it's pretty cool.

Looks like a cool place.  We're riding the three sisters on Friday.  Looks like there will be four of us.  Probably won't make the show Friday night.  We'll be there Saturday.

I'm getting off work at noon today and my buddy and I are heading out ASAP.  We're spending the night in Dripping Springs tonight.  Riding the Three Sisters on Friday and the Rally on Saturday.  Should be a great weekend.

I'd sure like to go to Luchenbach where I could/would "be somebody."

Everybody is somebody in Luchenbach.

Great seeing you all again!
Weather was perfect.  The ride was fantastic!  That little Sinclair station was way too cool!
Really looking forward to next year!
