Steve, are you planning on doing the Enchanted Rock/Pecan Grove ride on Saturday?

I’m riding in on Thursday.  I’ll be staying in Ingram, in an RV on the Guadalupe.  I’ll be at Rita’s Famous Tacos in Kerrville on Friday morning about 8:30 before hitting the three sisters if anyone wants to join me.

Hey Bud....yes, would like to do the run up to The Rock on Saturday morning followed by lunch at the Pecan Grove Store.

Always interesting to see what bikes they have in the shop there.
Website shows that they have Classic Cars now too, I'd like to see them as well.

Seeya there!

Steve, what time do you plan on heading to the rock on Saturday morning?

I passed Rita Famous Tacos #2 in Ingram.  I didn’t know there was a #2...so I’ll be there in the morning (Friday) instead of the one in Kerrville.

Another GREAT Harvest Classic.  Great weather, great riding and great camaraderie!!!

Here was the lineup on [mostly] Honda Corner...

Jason brought his gorgeous BMW with newly attached sidecar and "surgery" was performed onsite!

Bryne's beautiful KZ got my vote but the CBX won...

The "Bendover Blues Band" Friday night was very entertaining...

The Pig Roast was really good!  [the girls wanted no part of it!]

The ride up to The Rock was fun as always...

"ZZ Top" rocked out on Saturday afternoon!

My "Lil Suzi" worked well as a pit bike...

Sorry I had to cut out a little early but had plans for a drive in the Hill Country with these Classics...

My buddy insisted I drive the Viper....OK!

Hey Bud...yeah, this year is a bust when it comes to nearly any type of event.

The Harvest Classic is an online only charity event this year, no surprise really.

What do you guys think about something different?
My HOA has a private campground right on Lake Travis, I could host a weekend camp out/ride event?  There are great roads in the area.

I’m going to try and make a donation if I can.  Funds are little tight these days.

I was planning on attending the HC on the cheap.  I have a friend who lives near Marble Falls and he has a garage apartment I was going to stay in.  He rides an old BMW.  I was going to introduce him to the Harvest Classic, but he got sick (non-COVID) and will be recovering for a while and no HC Rally.  So there goes that plan.

I don’t have any camping gear.  Can’t afford it right now.  Trying to make some sales.  I need to get out of Houston for a while.

This is a bummer.  And I missed last year, though the pictures look great, thanks to those who posted.  And with wrist surgery yesterday I can't ride for a couple months, but would like to have come out to see all.

Stevo,
You might appreciate this as a car guy, my wrist got jacked up by a guy losing control of a spiffy 1966 Cobra replica he had just bought, hit my truck.  That big 427 sounded good for a moment.

Well, glad they're doing the right thing.Maybe by next year I'll have a bike fixed and the virus will be less of a concern.

Either that or the Humungus will be ruling the wasteland and we'll all be riding bikes and wearing assless chaps...  :P

For the Texas Crew,
The Pecan Grove Store just outside Fredericksburg is having a Vintage Motorcycle Show this coming Saturday, May 1st 2021, showtime 1200.  They've got great burgers and always live music, cool place and nice area to ride.  Not sure where everyone is located but just wanted to put it out there.

Thank you Stev-o for the shirt.

You were lucky, you hit the "Buy a seat, get a free t-shirt" sale last week!

Hoping for good weather and a great turnout for the Harvest Classic Oct 22-24...

Bad news indeed, Bud.   Are you still wanting to move to the Hill Country? If yes, what town??

I moved on 9/1 north of Fredericksburg, about 5 miles or so south of Enchanted Rock…haha!  Was looking for a place closer to Kerrville, but this place came up.  It’s totally NOT Houston.  So far, so good.

Was really looking forward to the HC.  I haven’t ridden since I got here.  Been too busy unpacking and setting up the shop. Gonna try to get out this next weekend if I can.

Congrats Bud, that is a beautiful area with great roads to ride!

I'm sure you are happy to have left the Houston area especially with the Tropical Storm headed that way.
