I haven't updated in a few, so here's the latest. I cleaned up the forks, put new seals and new fork oil, those are ready. I disassembled more of the front end, cleaned the gauges and dash lights. I discovered that the lower triple tree is solid rust and will need repainted. I hadn't planned on replacing the steering head bearings as they seem solid, but if I'm going to pull the triple trees off, I'm going to put in some tapered rollers, I'd rather only do this one time. The gauge backs have heavy pitting, but they'll work for now and look better than the picture seems to show. The pile of clean parts that are ready to re-install grows, but I have more work to do before I can start reassembling anything. College starts back up tomorrow, so work progression will slow down.
