Not like that in the USA.
Different states in the United states have different rules.
But you are responsible for what you do. Like a lawsuit.
Also if the police (CHP) inspect your vehicle and feel that
it is unsafe, they can refuse to register your machine.

Make sure the forks you change to are from a motorcycle that is about the same weight, and remember more modern parts are generally safer than old parts.

BTW....In the USA we are real good at producing documents.
We produce billions of document per year. Lol..lol Snow storm of paper !!!!

If I was in your country I could produce so many documents to show the authorities that they would be reading them for years. You know previous swaps an racing motorcycles that won races etc.,.

For you I would show that the more modern fork was better.
Just use statistics and so forth. Show rake and trail measurements.

BTW.... When you were born you not necessarily in the right country.
You may want to leave and go where things suit you better. ;)

I really like my country but yes we have a big problem when it comes too custom cars and mc's
you have too prove that the mods are safe and that test is done bye german TüV because we dont have the facilitys or self
i talked to a fabricator and he said that I should expect a totalt cost for testing and documents around 4500 usd

Better to play by the rules.
You never see a motorcycle parked outside of a psychiatrist's office!

Well while i'm trying too get some documentation I was thinking about you could tell me your opinions about the dresda swingarm vs stock and which dampers you prefer, i will not use the bike for track, but it would be nice whit a little tighter handling

A little secret to help you.

The average person would not be able to tell if a swing arm was one or two inches longer.

Most people that look at motorcycles don't know what they are looking at.
Especially non motorcycle people.

And if they are experts then they know it is improved.
why would they report you?

One more thing.
Many companies that make aftermarket parts have done testing and THEY HAVE THE DOCUMENTS. You do not have to pay someone to do it all over again.

I was not thinking about people could see the difference, but about the handling of a boxed swing arm vs. the original one
