the obligatory "IT LIVES!" post
« on: June 27, 2006, 12:29:06 AM »
I'm happy to report on the CB350F which is my avatar.  First, I took that ridiculous looking sissy bar off.  The bike seems happy with this, as am I.  Second, I finally got the carbs all cleaned out and reassembled with new jets and such, with good results.  The bike now runs after having sat for 20 years.  The previous owner will probably have a fit.  Ironically, this bike is the loudest one I own, and sounds much meaner than it is due to an open exhaust with baffles bolted in (came that way, and the spark plugs are reading properly so oh well, the pipes can stay for now).  Well, that's my obligatory "IT LIVES!" report.
