Nighthawk 700s shocks on a cb650sc
« on: August 20, 2012, 10:12:24 AM »
Hey guys, i'm wanting to upgrade the suspension on my 82 Nighthawk 650 and give it a little more aggressive stance. I was looking at Nighthawk 700s shocks as an inexpensive upgrade, what do you guys think of doing the swap? They have dual rate springs, are more adjustable, and i think are around an inch longer. Would that extra inch be to much, or raise the rear nicely do get a bit steeper head angle?

I put some 80 750 DOHC shocks on my 650 and they are much better.  I like the extra inch and stiffer springs.  Are the 700 shocks eye to clevis?   I know the DOHC 650's went to clevis to clevis.
I put the 650 shocks on my 360 and it feels much better.
