"Today on the way to work I saw...."

A guy balancing his checkbook on his steering wheel as he cruised at 70mph next to me.....

I haven't seen any idiotic "multi-tasking" lately, but of all the ones I have seen, the woman eating a bowl of cereal, driving up I-880 in Oakland was my favorite. She was steering with her forearms while holding the bowl with one hand, the spoon with the other. I've seen too many people driving with a map laid out across the steering wheel too.

Saw a guy reading the paper while driving.

Had a friend who was an EMT, he saw a woman putting pantyhose while driving.

I saw another putting on makeup.

And yet guys insurance is high.

I've seen people reading several times.  The most impressive guy was reading AND taking notes at 65 mph!!!!!!!!

   One day few years ago on my way to work there was a car that kept drifting left every time I went to pass. This was on a two lane highway with a posted speed of 55mph. I finally gave up because the road went to three lanes in about a half mile and I knew I'd have a better chance of passing. When the road widened I started my move to pass. This time, rather than drifting left the car drifted right giving me the opening I needed. As I passed I looked over to see a woman driving(barely), with a cell phone to her ear with her left hand and a cup of coffee, a cigarette and the steering wheel in the right. WTF?!?! The evil little voice in my head said to get in front of her and jam on the brakes. I had to ignore my evil little voice because my dog was with me and I didn't want to subject him to it. The dog probably saved me from my evil little voice many times.

this morning on the way to work I saw the most beautiful sunrise spreading it's gold and rose fingers over and around my head in the cool morning air - I sat at a stop light, engine idling (1100 rpm ) - looking up in awe, eyes wide and brain firing endorphins from the thrill and alertness of my morning ride...glancing over at the cage beside me I saw the bleary-eyed occupant staring at the bumper in front of him and chuckled to myself...

I read a study somewhere that said that men crash more often because of aggressive behavior such as racing or showing off.  Women crash from being inattentive and "out-to-lunch".

So men crash doing "Guy Stuff" while women just can't drive!

In the past week I have seen :
Woman on cellphone and taking notes/directions on dash (while moving) 
Guy eating cereal out of a bowl, and drinking coffee (while moving) 
Guy reading a book that was across his windshield (at 60mph on the Kennedy)
Woman veering thee lanes of traffic because she was reached over into the back seat trying to grab something..

What is so hard about driving ?

... A guy(a) watching a DVD on the screen where his radio should be!! Also, the guy(b) behind him watching the other screens(6 total) in his(a's) car, two of which are only visable to the cars behind him!!!

Atlanta freeways...

It wasn't today, but I watched a woman putting on mascara drive under the back of a parked semi at 70+ MPH.
She never knew what killed her because she WASN"T LOOKING!

I watched a guy drive under a semi too but he survived. Wasn't going but about 45. Tailgating one semi and decided to pass on right. semi in adjacent lane was stopped. Took then over an hour to cut him out.

Not on the road, but the most unusual accident I've ever seen.
Suva Point beach in Fiji. Sometime in late1976 or early 77, I forget exactly.
I was watching a group of elderly Indian gentlemen playing cards some 50 yards away under a coconut palm.
As I watched a coconut broke free, accelerated, and hit the nearest card player on top of his head.
I do not know his fate but he was not moving when he left the beach.


What about today.
Well I do not have a job but on the way to the doctors I didn't see any bad driving at all. Which is very unusual.

i saw a couple in a fist fight with each other while driving, the car was swerving all around and from behind you could see the guy driving with one hand while smacking the girl in the head with his fist as hard as he could, at the same time she was using both of her fists to beat him in his head as hard as she could......classic.

Yeah...we live in a crazy mixed up planet and we are sure to see some stupid  bull#$%* happen as we make our way through life everyday. I think it should be a wake up call to anyone who has half a brain!!!!!

I saw a guy in a car parked on the hard shoulder. He was holding a stoboscopic timing-light in his hand and was pointing it at passing cars. How ignorent is that? He could have blinded me with that thing.

  ok so i pull into a seven 11 this morning on my bike and an old beat up car follows me in so i get off my bike and begin to pull off my helmet and this sweet looking blonde in the old car is parked right next to my space and she flips open the door and smiles....left leg touches the pavement but the right stays in the car, shes wearing a football jersy and nothing else(i repeat NOTHING ELSE)and so she sits there like that and says nice bike.at this point i cant speak so she says what year is it,i barily got out 78 the whole time shes showing me her best assets knees buckling  i couldnt even think about my bike so finally she turned to her freind (another nice looking girl) and they started to laugh a little and then she got out of the car and went into the store.so i was able to then close my gaping mouth  and went in for my smokes ,they left while i was still in line.now im a happily married man and wouldnt cheat on my wife butdanm if that wasnt the hottest thing i ever saw!!!! (clean shavin too)
