cb550 bare frame weight. Anyone know?
« on: August 20, 2012, 07:58:26 AM »
I'm hoping to sell my titled cb550 frame but need to know the weight in order to get
a shipping quote. Does anyone know? If I had to guess I would say 35-40 lbs.
Many Thanks guys.

I was curious when I saw this thread so I took our "expensive" digital bathroom scales out to the garage and weighed myself, then picked up my bare 550 frame, and weighed myself again.  Difference was 31.8 lbs.   These scales are very close to the clinical scales at the workout center as I have compared them several times so I would say this is pretty accurate.   Just curious, can the frame be shipped bare or does it need to be crated?  Crating would add some weight.
