dumb rod question
« on: August 20, 2012, 09:57:37 pm »

I bought a partially disassembled 77F engine today and the rods look just like my old K engine rods. I had the bottom case off of a 77K engine last year to repair the trans and I remember the rods looking smoother and 750F was printed on the beam. Has any stock Honda rod ever had 750F printed on it?

Now I'm wondering if the F'nK has aftermarket rods in it. It belonged to a guy that mud drag raced 750's. Is there anywhere to put a borescope in the crankcase without pulling an engine?

I found a pic but you can only see the rod caps.
