I am new to the site, although I have been lurking for a while
. I just picked up a 1977 CB550K to turn into a cafe racer. I have been looking for a kick start, 70's vintage bike for a few years and finally found a good starting point. I am still in the disassembly stage but so far the bike seems to be rather solid. I got the bike to kick over while spraying carb cleaner in the carbs and stopped there. I am going to need a set of carbs for the bike in order to get it going. The previous owner tapped so hard on the side of one of the carbs that they dented the side thus freezing the slide in the carb.
I look forward to getting the input of the community as the project progresses.
