Yep, as happy as I was to see those incompetents in Queensland ousted Mick, I worry about one party having an absolute majority. Absolute power corrupts absolutely, and I'd hate to see a return of the "White Shoe Brigade" of the Joh Bjelke Petersen era, when I was a Queensland resident.

Back then, Wayne Goss was a breath of fresh air and heralded a much needed change from the entrenched corruption that typified Queensland politics. As much as I'm happy that the coalition government in Queensland has broken up the rats nest of hippies and dreamers that Queensland politics has become since 1989, I am worried about a return to a government with no viable opposition party to keep them honest. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Nah, I'm too lazy Mick, but you go for it and let me know how it all turns out, and if you can find me a nice cushy job in your new government mate, that'd be great. ;D

Glad to hear that Terry has not given up on the "Manpons" idea.  When I saw him bemoaning his balls freezing recently, I figured the "Manpons" ship had sailed.  Better trademark the name before some thief steals the idea. ;)

Ha ha, no "Manpons" are alive and well, and if anybody steals another one of my ideas like those Oasis arseholes did, they'll need tampons! ;D
