Yesterday I did some cleaning up of the chrome with steel wool and wd40.

Today I did an oil change, installed new spark plugs, installed new battery, and the thing starts right up after sitting in a garage for 10 years!

Not licensed or insured yet, but took her for a spin in the neighborhood. It was awesome! So smooth, powerful, shifts nicely. Hate to say it, but it's more fun than my current ride, a 1976 BMW R90/6.

The 4 into 2 exhaust with old aftermarket slip on mufflers look not so nice but sound great and snarly, something my BMW does not sound like.

I understand completely, Mr. Fast - I got mine from a friend after 14 years without motorcycles (family and all that other jazz) and it took me a while to ride her without that stupid happy grin on my face
