Where's dhall? Yet another shooting.
« on: August 24, 2012, 09:49:26 PM »
Empire State Building.  Just saw a surveillance video of the guy in a shoot out with two members of the NYPD. Innocent people just walking down the sidewalk caught in the crossfire.  For #$%*'s sake what is going on.  Five more years until my boy graduates from high school and we are getting out of here. Thinking of heading down under or maybe Europe or Canada.  If we make it out alive.

You can always come up here.  It's almost like Canada and not as crazy as the rest of the country.  I have traveled and worked in many parts of the country and there is a reason I am still in Minnesota.  Ya just have to get used to the winter. ;D

I'm right here Jeff. At work yesterday I heard somebody say something about a shooting in NY near the ISB. But being very busy at work at the time I really didn't pay that much attention. There so many mad, sad and lost people out there today that hate the world and the people in it :( :( No way to know what that person your standing behind in the check out line is going through, or what just happened to them.

The state of mind that these people are in at the time I guess they feel like killing other people somehow is there only way of getting revenge back at society. They feel like the world is the cause of all there problems not them.

I like my women a little big. Natural. Now, they shave this and wax that. It's not right. I love natural women. Big women. This trend in women has to go. Bulomia, anorexia. That's just wrong. You know what will cure that? My special sticky buns. One lick of my sticky buns and your appetite will come right back. ~ RIP Mr. Borgnine  01/24/1917 - 07/08/2012  :'(

All people have the same basic needs and desires and there are people with psychological problems in every country.  Why is it that our society has this outcome and other countries do not?  Lack of access to health and mental care, lack of a saftey net, just plain hate and fear, etc?I suspect the answers are difficult and it is easier to  just ignore.

Here in the America the mentality is so much I, I ,ME,ME, NOW,NOW,MORE,MORE. Get out of my way or I'll run over you or worse. I saw a good example of this a few days ago. I was a lane over and several cars back, but a person waiting to make a right turn on red wasn't doing it quick enough for the person behind them and was laying on the horn like it was no tomorrow. WHY? I could see the rage and anger in his face. Did he just get fired, was he going home, headed to the gas station, was he going to Walmart. Who knows.
