I like that speedo, but maybe consider a different triple top?

If you register as an antique, no inspection is necessary and no winkers. I don't have any on my 550 cafe.

Great build thread so far, subscribed!

 I got a CB in February that needed some motor work and after 8 months I'm finally getting it back this week! The 8 months is a whole long story I'll tell on my thread though don't want to hijack yours.

Looks like we have a lot of the same ideas/wishes/dreams for our bikes I'm glad to see. Keep up the good work.

Hey. Well, Benji ended up taking about 12 weeks to finish my tank and seat instead of the 6 weeks he said it would be. By the time it had arrived I'd gone over budget. So, it's been on hold till I get more money together. I have pretty much all the parts sitting in my garage (oh yeah, I moved into a house with my girlfriend and have a garage now!) waiting for me to finish it.

Still need to get my frame cut and the rear loop welded on. Need to get the Benji tank and sear painted. I'm stuck on how to mount my rearsets, was thinking of having a friend fabricate some based off designs I have- not sure yet! After that it's just a matter if putting it together and hoping it runs. I think about it at least a couple times a week but it's not a priority and since I spent my bike budget I had saved the money is what's holding me back. I'm so sick of seeing everyone on their bikes when I thought I'd be out there with them by now. I WILL update this as I get rolling again.

Hey Stev-o! Yeah, I took an extra class in the spring semester, and then loaded up my summer semesters too trying to race to graduation. Oh! Also, I started an athletic apparel company called Apex Athletic Apparel about 2 months ago. Check it out: www.apexathleticapparel.com

So a bit busy as of late. I just need to get the money rolling so I can play with my toys!

Very cool, I like the logo, may buy a couple.  Consider printing a SOHC version, could be a good seller here?

Sadly, I'm one of those poor schmucks that should have just bought a finished bike with my money, as I'm now in a position that I have to sell it to make room.

That is the worst news. Got to be somebody on here that will offer up some space convenient to you, and allow you to keep this project. It has too nice of an outcome pending for it to be abandoned!

Shoot, if I have to, I'll drive down and bring it here, store it. And you can come and go to finish it as you want. Will make sure it has plenty of friendly company in the garage to keep it from being lonely  :)

Man... You and calj737...the kindness you can still find in this world blows my mind.

I think I may take you up on this! I need to talk with the finance since she was expecting to have some extra cash for things around the house, but I'd love to be able to finish this bike.

What kind of shop is it? I'll have to check the inside condition of the f tank but if you want it it's all yours!
