hello there
« on: August 25, 2012, 07:42:00 PM »
hi, i guess i should introduce myself as i will certainly have a few hundred questions.

just picked up this one owner 71 CB750 in boxes but neatly packed.
looks to be all there. has been off the road (disassembled?) since 1976.
gentleman took it apart but father time ran out on him before finishing the project.

his lovely widow was surprised that i wanted to put it back together,
but i was trying to look cool and explained that these were very sought after in the day
and that there popularity was returning.

super stock. no mods that i can tell. some surface rust, as everything gets here in hawaii.
he imported the bike from japan, i have all the cool old shipping manifestos and such. no key  :(
and still some paperwork to get everything on the up and up.  :o

well i know this isn't the advice topic area but i have the first question i always need to ask: what book do i get?
