Project: Noise Pollution ('76 CB750F)
« on: August 25, 2012, 05:28:09 PM »
Its about time I post up my on-going build. I bought a basket case of the bike about 3 years back from a kid that slid it into a ditch and liked to hack wiring up. The poor bike was molested and neglected. I bought it running for $400. Its been many years and lots of blood, sweat and curse words but I think its coming along very nicely.

Here is the most recent image I have of her:

and here is what I started with:

I fully understand that not everyone will be into the style of the bike but my feelings on modification are simple: I have great respect for anyone who puts in the effort and time to make something all their own.

I have a blog where I attempt to keep an updated posting of all the bike's progress so for lots more details go ahead and have a look at her, its the link in my Signature.  :)

A short list of the things done to her are:

I handmade the fiberglass seat
Put knee dents in the tank
4.25" rear wheel
Shinko rubber (have to say I'm impressed with these cheap tires!)
13" dual rate shocks
CB550 front end w/ progressive rate springs

I plan to rewire the whole bike with Weatherpack connectors very soon and get started on upgrading the brakes.

Thats all i can think of currently, haha
