The first one was definitely more "unique" good or bad ...take that one to the bank and try to cash it. The second tank I like better though it kind of "over whelms" it a tad...like a 5' tall guy with Schwarzenegger pecs, buT I always loved the lines on those tanks. that's why I kept mine pretty much untouched and even had it painted to follow those lines. Superbike bars would look great or even tracker bars as it seems to have more of a meaty street fighter look. the clubmans look a little out of place and uncomfortable (based on what I've heard here on the forums.) If you go with a narrower/smaller tank they might fit  better, but I'm all for tracker bars and a fat tank on that build. JMHO.

thanks for the input. I agree Im hoping when I redo the seat a different way the tank will blend a little bit better, If not think I will look for a stock 550 tank an go from there. tanks are getting a little pricey though.
clubman def dont go with it, closet set I had layin on the garage floor gonna try making a couple different styles tomorrow.
thanks Paul

I know these builds from WM are almost getting to be a "Cliche'" on the web, but I really like this one.

http://www.bikeexif.com/kawasaki-z750b

Maybe you can get some inspiration?  Two things I like on this (well several) but the way the "trackered" out the exhaust and geometry of the seat to the handlebars. They kept the bars at a comfortable height and the seat relatively low with out making it into a wannabe bobber and still keeping fairly low profile topline.

The stock tank was better looking IMO. I think that looked more unique and preserve on of these fantastic bikes curves :D
Please ! Take a look and give me feedback in my project thread, its much needed :)

gonna run the tracker bars. tried some straight bars, small rise upside down looked cool but not comfy.
fat tires an fat tank I think It def needs a fat seat. The seat is no higher then the other one posted in pics, made a basket almost to hold the foam an dropped down to hide some of the tube. think I will cut down the sides a little so more leather an foam show an polish the metal to match the tank..
Thoughts????

I like the finished product. If you really wanted to move it, put the typical cafe racer seat on it. Of course, it would take away from the uniqueness but still a nice ride. How does she handle with the big tire up front?
