Still have the 650, plan to repaint it and sell in the spring.  For now I have both, but when you ride around on a v-max it kinda spoils you for anything else.

When you are ready to sell it, please keep me in mind. Knowing the work and care you have put into it, if I have finds available, I would not hesitate to buy it when the time comes.

Believe it or not I am not a huge fan of many Japanese bikes.  With that said, I think the VMax is bad ass

Nice bike, I had a 2002 that I put R1 Brakes on and 3 spoke sportbike wheels.  It did improve the stopping and handling.

Congrats

Ha-I can hear your insurance agent crying and shuddering all the way over here.  :-X   When those first came out the high cost of insurance for them was a little bit of a detriment. Probably with all the fast bikes out there now maybe its leveled off some.   Enjoy it-They are Badass !

that's the best part... my insurance went up $18 a year... and how I have compresive which I did not have on the Honda.  Don't understand why, but It's a deal I'll take!  (maybe because I'm OLD and haven't had a ticket or accident since Ragen was in office... the first time)

Go check the corporate video for the newest v-max.

http://www.yamaha-motor.eu/eu/products/motorcycles/vmax/vmax.aspx?id=480112&mode=video&view=media

If it doesn't make you want one when you see that rear wheel drifting, then you have ice in your veins!
