Starting to find and collect parts for my 78' cb750f super sport.. but had a question before i purchase this seat. If any of you have this seat I would love detailed pics.
2. Hinges. It would be cool to maintain the seat lock and hinge. I have read a searched (saw the wooden plate underneath a fiberglass seat) but haven't seen anything really in depth that helped too much. How else would I go about mounting this thing? And what would be necessary?
3. Rear Hoop. On the supersports it seems there is a hump because of the glove box in the tail end. If I were to chop the back end off and integrate a rear hoop (I like the look too) would that be necessary? I'm curious if i could just mount the seat right on.
Do you guys know or forsee any other problems with mounting this thing? I'm a total newb looking for advice..
If you can't tell I'm going for a cafe racer look, minimalist bike really. Plan on relocating electrics on the back end underneath this seat. and fabricating an oil tank that lines the triangle back end where it will sit flush to the rear section where the oil and electronics are right now.
