I recently purchased a '75 CB550F and replaced the clutch. I rode i about 150 miles over a three week period and the bike was shifting well. I go to start it this morning and the shifter pedal wont move. So I readjusted the adjustment screw and both ends of the cable per manual and the bike was shifting fine again. I proceed to ride about 3 miles and park the bike, after returning the clutch pedal is again locked up. I again, tweak the adjustment and free it up and ride back home to make a more comprehensive adjustment. I then take the bike on about a 15 mile ride and its shifting fine until about the last mile where it keeps stalling at stops if I don't ride the throttle above 2k (I'm assuming I'm not getting full disengagement thus the stalling). So I get it back home and shift into N per indicator light, left off the clutch and it lurches forward as if it never came out of first and stalls.
So, this is where I'm at now. The only think I can think of is my adjustment is somehow slipping? Any ideas?
