77 CB750 Exhaust Valve Guide question
« on: September 01, 2012, 11:58:15 PM »
So, Ive read a ton on here and used the search a lot, but cant figure this out:

Why on Dynoman Performance do I see (KPMI) valve guides listed:

69-76 CB750 F&K SOHC
77-78 CB750 K SOHC

And found here:

http://www.dynoman.net/engine/valve-guides.html

But then when I go to KPMIvalvetrain.com I see:

69-76 SOHC excluding F2  (but I find 77-78K not listed?)

http://valvetrain.kpmivalvetrain.com/viewitems/rain-components-honda-cb%E2%84%A2-750-sohc-br-1969-to-1976/ides-for-honda-cb-750-sohc-excluding-f2-motorcycle?

Am I missing something important here?  Is one of the websites wrong?  Im thinking the KPMI site just didnt list the 77K as an over site and the guides are actually compatible but I dont want to make a mistake and am ordering the exhaust guides for my machinist.  Any help would be appreciated.

I'd send an email to Dynoman and ask him. I checked Honda numbers for guides and the part numbers are different between early k and 77 f models.
