Anyone have a 350F or 400F in the Portland area?
« on: April 18, 2013, 08:12:22 AM »
I have a CB500 in Lake Oswego, and I need to see if a 350F or 400F dipstick will fit in the 500.  This would involve me dropping by (or meeting you somewhere) and doing a 20 second swap test.  I'm trying to see if a temp gauge equipped dipstick designed for a 400 will fit in my 500!

Happy to bring some good brew as payment for your trouble.  Might also be fun to find a fellow SOHC owner to do some riding with in this area.

Cheers,

The dipstick for a 350F and 500K are the same. the 400F is a number off.

That's a new one, never heard of a temp gauge on a dipstick. I don't think they came from Honda that way. if its aftermarket then why couldn't you just rig up your 500 dipstick the same way?

BTW you could post this in the tech thread and get a faster answer.

I actually did post the question and got no answers in the tech section.  The dip stick is aftermarket, found here:
