Motion Pro tools. Any must haves?
« on: September 02, 2012, 07:02:18 PM »
Found a local place here that says they sell most of Motion Pro's tools.  Is there anything you have from them that's a "can't live without?"

Tappet feeler gauges
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Tappet wrenches, clutch bolt socket, carb sync gauges.

I like the little cable lube tool, and I'll second the carb sync gauge.

Tire spoons for sure, maybe not the best out there but @5 bucks a piece, there is no need to use screwdriver anymore.

I picked up a valve shim tool and spoke wrench as well as feelers. Carb sync tool also.

Have used them all.  ;)

1 - carb sync tool, you know, the long one with the screwdriver running through the middle to make vac sync adjustments.
2- 5mm carb vac synch port adapters.  the brass ones with paper washers and rubber caps.  no more fishing screws off a hot engine.
3 - another vote for the  tappet wrenches and feeler gauges
