CB750 Indicator light fitment question.
« on: September 06, 2012, 09:58:02 PM »
I have a 78 750k and i want to get rid of the center mounted indicator box in between the gauges.  I want to run the handle bar clamp style indicator lights that are on the CB350 and the CB500. Will those bolt right up to my 78? and also i have found the bar clamp ones with out the lights in them, will the lights from my center mount work on the bar clamp style? Thanks in advance dudes and dudets

The "dashboard" lights form the earlier 750s will bolt right on. Is that what you're looking for? The 350 version might not fit just right, as it's height is slightly off, IIRC.
See SOHC4shop@gmail.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

All the ones i have found on ebay have only been labeled for 350 and 500/550. all the 750 ones i find are the one that i have now.

Will your 750's ignition switch/fork lock clear the older indicator light "panel"? Cool idea, though.

I was thinking about relocating the ignition switch all together or just spacing it down a bit so it would clear but yeah i did think about that cause it could be real close if i didnt move it at all.
