Damn, this is so heartfelt from Trevor's mom... I pray for help and peace for her and Trevor. I also pray for conviction for Nathan Ray. He needs that, to face his responsibility and own up to what he did. The collateral damage that is done by our choices and the consequences of them are given here by Nathan Ray's choice that night.  :'(

Since this bumped over to a new page, I'd like to ask everyone to go back to page 15 and read the letter from Trevor's mom.

You can bet Nathan's parents are doing everything they can to get him a new trial, reduced sentence or anything else that money can buy to minimize the impact on him.

 Shared from ADVRider.

Nathan Ray's first parole hearing has been announced. It is my understanding that Pam and Trevor will be coming back to Arkansas to appear before the parole board, and I hope to go with them if needed. The following message was posted by Pam tonight on her FB page; we would love to flood the board with letters and emails; rest assured Trevor would do the same for you.

One month from today on April 11th Nathan Ray, the habitual drunk driver who left Trevor to die in a middle lane of Interstate 40 on September 4, 2012 is appearing before the Arkansas parole board to request release. Please help us let the parole board know that seven years is not sufficient a debt to pay for what he has done, ESPECIALLY because Nathan was on parole for a death he caused in 2005 while driving drunk when he destroyed Trevor's life. In addition, Nathan has been disciplined many times while incarcerated, twice for being under the influence (IN PRISON). Nathan's plea deal is for 7-25 years. He has a very well established pattern of wasting opportunities not given to his victims. Please write to the parole board on Trevor's behalf urging them to deny early parole. Trevor is still struggling every single day to regain a meaningful life. It has been heartbreaking to watch and painful to not be able to fix. If only we had been given an opportunity to have a better life if we worked hard and followed the rules for seven years. I guarantee you Trevor would have earned it. I am posting the email and address below. Please forward a copy to me at pware80@yahoo.com so that I can reinforce the response to the board when we appear on April 3rd. We will be given 10 minutes to speak. Please add your voice to ours so that those ten minutes do not stand alone. If you ever knew Trevor or our family, if you have worked along side us, if you've ever said you think of us, if you ever wished you could do something now is the time. This means so much to me. Please write, please.

They should never let that turd out, what a waste of a human being.
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

I don't usually read these types of threads all the way through.  I usually skim them over and count my lucky stars.
I read this one.  It  floored me.
I wrote a letter today.  Only took a few minutes and a stamp (which took longer to find than writing the letter)

C'mon everyone.  Let's flood that post office box.
Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.

Does Trevor's mom want an email or a hand written letter? It really doesn't matter to me which one I'll write but I will definitely write one. Please let me know which ia the preferred method.

A copy of my email....Larry

To the Arkansa Parole Board,

I have been following the saga of Trevor Ware and the damage inflicted upon him and his family by the despicable deed done to them by inmate Nathan Ray’#154991 who is coming up for parole April 11.  I urge you to continue incarceration for Ray and to continue it for the maximum time.  To release a man who has killed one person and ruined the lives of countless others would be wrong.

Please do not release him upon society.

A copy of my email

Hello ladies and gentlemen of the Arkansas parole board. My name is Ronald Harrison. I am writing to you to urge you to deny parole for inmate Nathen Ray #154991.
I as well as many people in the motorcycling world feel it would be a huge mistake to allow him back out into the world.
He has destroyed at least 2 families. One with death which he was still legally dealing with at the time he permanently destroyed any and all chances for Trevor Ware to live and normal and meaningful life.
I urge you to reveiw the time frames and various charges he had before the Tevor Ware incident. And then look at the likelihood of him doing that this kind of damage to someone else again.
So I just to reiterate as a father a motorcyclist I strongly urge you to deny Nathen Ray's #154991 parole.

            Sincerly
