chain noise

oiling my chain i noticed that if i spin my tire in the forwarf motion the chain makes no noide but if i rotate the tire in reverse the chain makes noise right by the drive sprocket
anyone know why?
bike runs good,no noise no heat buildup on drive assembly

How do your spockets look like ?

Worn or bent over teeth will could be a cause

Is your wheel adjusted straight, if not theres something to look at

 ???
