Brake Caliper Interchangable between CB550F and CB350F?

Howdy guys

My friend has a caliper assembly complete with pads, etc off a 1976 CB550 that I'd like to put on my 72 CB350F. I don't have it physically in front of me to try on the bike, but should it theoretically work? Thanks!

IM pretty sure they are the same but i have never done it. There are many of them listed on ebay saying they fit 350s and 550s.
