fuel rail cross over tube between carb 1 and 2
« on: June 29, 2006, 12:55:32 PM »
Help. The plastic tube that fuel travels through between carb 1 and 2 is broke and I need another. Problem is that Honda doesn't make the part anymore. Its for a 72 CB350f. Does any an extra they could sell or any leads on where to find one. I've exhausted the junkyards near my area. Also, the tee fitting that connects the fuel line to the carbs is pretty much the same so if anyone had one of those that would work too. Thanks for any help you can offer,
Sean

I'm not exactly sure which peice you're looking for, but these guys have all sorts of carb parts listed --> http://www.crotchrocket.com/fiche_select.asp

Of course, there's no guarantee that everything listed is available, but it's a start.

I think he's looking for #25 below -

The fuel-splitter "T" fitting is shown too, but no number...???...

The 350-Fours don't seem to be too common...not too many owners here, it seems...

Maybe you should re-post or add the model to the thread title...attract some of the 350-Four owners who live here...

...Stock 1972 CL450 'Scrambler' also being re-assembled...

aren't they the same as the 400? if you post the dimensions I will check them against mine, my carbs are in bits at the moment so no problem.

The Fiche says -

TUBE, FUEL (2.5X16)

I believe 2.5 is also the dia of the brass tubes on my 627A's...you might be able to find some brass Metric tubing in a hobby shop...

just checked size of my 400f part
diameter of piece which fits in carb is 9mm
overall length is 29mm
the 'T' piece on mine is metal. These parts are not listed in either the Honda parts manual I have or on the Crotchrocket site. If these match yours then look out for an old set of 400f carbs on ebay or here on forum.

Sorry, no I am not talking about the little crossover tube but the tube that hold the #1 O-rings. It is the tube that is right below #25 on the micro-fiche. It is not the "t" fitting but I could use a "t" fitting as it is the same as the crossover tube. Sorry I wish I could use a proper term for the plastic tube but I haven't found a name or part # for it. It is the tube that supplies fuel to the outside carbs.

that's the one I am talking about, the dimensions posted are for a 400f as I said.
Since the 400f is based on the 350f they are almost certainly identical and the 400 is easier to get parts for.
