You know, some folks get just a bit carried away at the "Suggestion" of change! I
thought that voicing an opinion had been legalized. The BOTM is a good deal and if it stays as
is or becomes categorized shouldn't piss people off. Excuse me but, I was under the impression
that we were allowed to make suggestions. If I have a suggestion, am I not allowed to express
it? I thought I was. I thought everybody was allowed to do so but, some folks get plum
carried away and some seem to almost be to the point of being belligerent. Like I said, and I
feel that most will agree, I'm going with whatever is decided (no matter which way it goes!).
Understand something, I'm not irritated because some don't like the idea. Suggestions aren't
supposed to be thrown out there with the impression given that the suggestion is the only
way something should be done! Seems like the definition should be checked for "suggestion".
I mean no disrespect to anyone, I just feel that suggestions or ideas about anything should be
heard without a bunch of crap being stirred up. My opinion.

I expected the knee-jerk i-fear-change reactions, but i think we also got some discussion out of it.  if i can live with being called a proponent of same-species feeding, you should be able to witness it without getting upset.  The price of open discussion is that some people will use the openness of it to nay-say and niggle, but it's worth it to have a chance at establishing and improving ideas.  These knee-jerks also make you refine your argument to the point that even they can understand it  ;D ;)  I definately refined the way I was thinking about the contest, and what is important about it to me.  Priceless.

there's some chrome that needs polishing so that's where i'll be.

ok... sorry the poll is not up yet but, here's what i have.

only TWO bikes have been nominated, seconded and accepted... DME and kghost

objectionable one... you accepted a nomination which i cannot find much less a second.. if you can find those for me it would be appreciated.  otherwise, i'll have the poll up in an hour or two.

edit!  PLEASE USE USERNAMES.  not actual names.

Okay, here´s the deal. Ben Schmitt is Objectionable One.

I made the nomination after I´d seen the bike in the Gallery. His album was named "Ben Schmitt" and I didn´t bother to look up his username. Didn´t know it was needed....

Anyway, it was seconded and accepted in time.

Cheers
Daniel

I second whoever's hasn't been seconded yet.  ;) They're all great afterall.

If we do categories, can we have a "mostly stock with mis-matched tires, fading paint, cracked side covers, and rusty exhaust" category? I might have a chance that way. Then again, probably not.  ;D
