Pyramid Parts fork boots
« on: April 05, 2013, 07:37:56 AM »
Good morning everyone,
I recently ordered a set of black rubber fork boots to replace the old style fork gators for my CB750 K5, I ordered them from Pyramid Parts on eBay. from New Zealand.  I test-fit them and they had a 5/32" gap between the bottom of the rubber seal and the groove in the fork, where the gator used to fit.

I don't confrontation or saying anything negative about anybody, SO..  I'm POSITIVE if you order these boots, they will have a gap, that does not look very clean or appealing.  I'm going for a clean look and that ain't it.  decide for yourself, but information is power, enjoy.

On another note, if anybody knows of either a rubber or metal boot that DOES fit good and look clean, like aluminum turned on a lathe, please let me the source of supply as I would love to find them...

Thanks :)

Have you tried Honda P/N 51425-375-003? I've been told they don't fit either. I bought chrome caps off eBay but the seller (Tommy Low Riders) was out of stock on the wipers. Did you ever find boots that fit?
