750 K3 crankcase bolt issue?

At the rear of my k3 I have three bolt hols in a line....the left hand hole takes a M10 x 82 bolt and a nut underneath, the right hand one takes an M8 x 56 bolt with no nut underneath, it's the middle hole that makes no sense to me!

This is the hole just to the left of the rear facing breather pipe. In the manuals they all have an M8 x 56 bolt with a nut underneath but the hole itself is very clearly over 10mm wide as an M10 slots in there just fine. I can't believe that Mr Honda, everything made that way for a purpose, would suggest an M8 bolt in an M10 hole....any thoughts from fellow K3 owners and probably other K models??
