I am toying with the idea of having my '70 cb750 motor gone through and rebuilt. It is something that I don't want to do myself. Any shops you guys recommend? Especially any in Texas?

I like Texas and the air fare will only cost you abou $900 x 3 as the boss wouldnt let me leave her or junior behind!!!
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Hey.. Hows it hanging? I don't know of any shops... Which is not all that unusal. I'm a do it yourself type of guy. I think most shops are hesitant to work on the older stuff.

Oh, by the way.. The RD is getting an extreme cleanup.. I rode it as is twice around the neighborhood. That thing really kicks. It's now in the permanent off postion for a complete frame strip down. I am totally pumped about this bike. It is going straight cafe with expansion chambers.

I was wondering if you had a chance to "take it around the block". I knew once you got on it would be hooked and I know it is not running at its full potential...close but not quite there. Lots of fun when the front wheel starts to come off the ground when the power band kicks in.

Bike is a lot simplier than our 4's and I expect you will have it right as rain much sooner than you expect. Especially with the anticipation of getting it on the road. The looks will be priceless....

Be sure to send me pics on the progress.
